Last Tree and I

Last Tree and I is a tricky game to learn – the controls are very unique and the tutorial is particularly vague!

The goal of LTAI is to protect the last tree in the world against endless waves of corporate fat-cats.

All number and letter keys on your keyboard are valid controls. Pressing a control will make the ninja move towards an area on the screen that relates to the key’s position on the keyboard. To help visualise this, you can enable “Assist Mode” from the pause menu (press ESC to pause).

Pressing a key which is close to the ninja’s current position will make him perform an attack to that location. By stringing together multiple attacks it is possible to become airborne and reach flying enemies!
