Precious is a projection installation produced for Artichoke (UK) and the Durham Lumiere light festival. Precious explores the wide, deep, and emotional connections in a person’s life by asking them to share stories about one of their most precious objects.

The nine-container installation ran endlessly, mixing and matching hundreds of interview clips filmed by student at Durham Sixth Form Centre. Compositions were dynamically generated using a custom-built generative video composition tool, made in TouchDesigner.
